 Philosophy

My philosophy for Live Unscrambled came from my own crazy busy life. It can definitely be a challenge sometimes to

maintain order and have time for the important people and things in life... Living Life To The Full!  Below are some of my

observations and my approach that when applied can bring about the fullness and richness that life has to offer.

 We Live Scrambled Lives

 My Approach

Clutter, Chaos, and Disorganization!

We live in a complicated, fast-paced, technology focused,

and clutter-filled world these days.  We're overwhelmed

with cluttered homes, minds and lives.

To put it another way-we're scrambled!

Tons of clutter invade our lives and consume us:

Busyness ~ we run around all day working, taking care

of family, trying to do everything and be everything.  We

run ourselves ragged trying to get everything done.

Worries ~ we worry about the economy, our job, our

family, our finances, and our home.

Stuff ~ our homes are filled with paper, clothes,

furniture, toys, trinkets, gadgets, and junk.

If we are not careful, the wrong things become our

priorities and we lose control of our lives. We scramble

to make our lives complete but all we get is a mess!

Living Life from The Inside Out!

I have spent countless hours in prayer, reflection, and

lots of trial and error.  What I have discovered is this

simple truth:

"Wholeness, peace, and joy comes from the daily

renewing of the mind ~ seeking God and all His

wisdom ~ then you can express that outwardly

       in your environment".

Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this

world, but be transformed by the renewing of your

mind.   Romans 12:2

We have a choice; we must be steadfast and change the

way we think.  We must renew our mind daily, make new

habits and patterns that will allow us to live the life we are

meant to live.

Be Intentional and utilize systems.

Actively seek or "go after" change.  Implement plans and

systems that work for you.  One system that has worked

well for me is what I call "The W.H.O.L.E. Approach".

For an explanation, go to my blog entry:

"Get Simplified, Stay  Organized, and Live Unscrambled".

 Where to Begin?

First know that it's a process

Living Unscrambled doesn't happen overnight.  It's a process of sorting through the pieces of your home and life, and

connecting them together to reflect you.  If you're overwhelmed, start small... piece by piece, if something doesn't fit...

throw it out. Small steps are better than no steps...so pace yourself.

Get practical and begin

Start where you are:  Maybe you need to start with de-cluttering and organizing a junk drawer or just 1 or 2 rooms

in your home?  Maybe you need to begin by organizing your brain; your time, analyzing what works and doesn't work

in your life, setting priorities and goals etc.

Just as there is no "one size fits all" way of organizing your home, there is no "one place to start" for simplifying your life.

Wherever one chooses to begin, one thing is for sure - one must choose their attitude to make a change - make yours a

can-do attitude: positive, focused, decisive, determined, motivated and ready to GO!

Easier said than done, right?  Here are three options for you...

    1.  Get one on one help; hands on organizing or coaching...call or e-mail me for an in-home consultation -

free with purchase of an organizing package.

    2.  Get an organizing buddy to help you.  Find a friend that you trust to help.  An extra set of hands is always

helpful and you can hold each other accountable.

    3.  From time to time, I start an organizing group. This is a place to connect with other women who have similar

struggles and who seek to live simpler, more organized lives.  There is no cost or obligation to join a group ~

it's my gift to you.  Please check this web site and my blog often, as I will post information about upcoming group

         details.
